SCAMFest
The Southern California A cappella Music Festival (SCAMFest) is an annual a cappella concert hosted by the Claremont Shades in Big Bridges auditorium each fall semester. The evening includes performances by all seven 5C a cappella groups as well as four off-campus groups. Internationally recognized groups such as the SoCal Vocals, Scattertones and many more make the journey to Claremont to perform every year!
ICCA’s
In some years, The Claremont Shades choose to compete at the ICCA’s, the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella, the competition that inspired the Pitch Perfect series! In 2019, the Shades competed against 9 other groups in the West Quarterfinal at Pomona College’s Big Bridges Auditorium!
